EndNote is a reference management tool freely available for students and staff at NTNU. The software is helpful for creating a personal library with references/sources, and as a tool working together with Word in inserting sources in a manuscript and creating a reference list in the style you require.
EndNote is also available as an online version (EndNote Online), but this guide will mainly cover the desktop version of the software. The desktop version gives access to the online version if you want to share your library with yourself or with others.
